You might think it is impossible for molds to grow in A heavy oil. But if there is a layer of condensed water at the bottom of the tank, mold may grow at the interface between water and oil using oil as nutrient. If the strainer or pipelines is blocked by seaweed-like sludge, then there might be mold mycelia.
Destol F-II can suppress the formation of these molds. For molds that have already grown, the product can block the growth of mycelia and eventually kill the molds.
